This Privacy Policy explains how Let’s Log n Go (“I”, “me”, “this site”) at https://letslogngo.com handles personal information. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and similar laws in other countries.
1. Who is responsible
This site is run by an individual based in the Republic of Korea, who is the data controller and privacy contact. Contact: lets.logngo@gmail.com.
2. What I collect and why
Comments
If you comment, I collect the name, email address and (optional) website you enter, your IP address and browser user agent. Purpose: to display your comment and prevent spam. Legal basis (GDPR): your consent and my legitimate interest in preventing spam. Your email is never shown publicly. Comments may be checked by an automated spam-filtering service.
Emails you send me
If you email me, I receive your email address and message. Purpose: to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest / steps you requested.
Technical data
When you visit, my hosting provider and CDN/DNS provider automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit in server logs. Purpose: to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and I do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
3. Cookies
Essential cookies: WordPress cookies that remember your name and email if you tick that box when commenting, and login cookies for the site administrator.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): this site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad and to measure ad performance. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link shown on the page. 4. Service providers and international transfers
I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with service providers that help run this site, who process it on my behalf:
- Hostinger – web hosting
- Cloudflare – domain and DNS
- Google – email (Gmail) and advertising (Google AdSense); analytics only if enabled later
- WordPress plugins running on my own hosting (for example SEO and spam protection)
These providers may store data in countries other than yours, including the United States, the EU and other regions. Where GDPR or PIPA applies, transfers rely on safeguards such as the providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms. I may also disclose information if required by law.
5. How long I keep data
- Comments and their metadata: until you ask me to delete them, or the comment is removed.
- Emails: as long as needed to answer you, and then deleted within a reasonable period.
- Server logs: according to the hosting provider’s standard retention (usually a few weeks to months).
When data is no longer needed, I delete it or make it anonymous.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information I hold about you and get a copy of it
- correct inaccurate information
- delete your information
- restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing before withdrawal)
- receive your data in a portable format
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising (California and other US states). I do not sell personal information.

To use any of these rights, email lets.logngo@gmail.com. I will reply within the time required by applicable law (for example within one month under GDPR). If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Korea, you can contact the Personal Information Protection Commission or the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) privacy centre (privacy.kisa.or.kr, call 118).
7. Security
The site uses HTTPS, and I keep WordPress and plugins updated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (Korea), 16 (EEA, where applicable) or 13 (United States). If you believe a child has given me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
Posts link to other websites and may embed content such as maps or videos. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for how they handle your data.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy, for example before adding analytics or advertising. The effective date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
